A Good Day Made Better: It's that time of year when doing a little extra for the less fortunate takes on special meaning. Our staff got the chance to mingle with holiday shoppers and make pitches for the greater good.

and John Monteith Ringing the Bells: The holiday season makes us mindful of families and individuals who can benefit from a little assistance. Moody-Connolly Funeral Home & Crematory proudly sponsored the initiative, and two of our directors got to spend a sunny day greeting holiday shoppers at Walmart. Monteith has been with Moody-Connolly since 2010 and Miller joined in 2013. For both it was their first time soliciting donations on behalf of the Salvation Army.
This year's Polar Plunge set a new fundraising record for the Transylvania County Special Olympics and Moody-Connolly's Chris Biecker helped lead the way.
