Yvonne Maxwell Hodnett, 82, of Franklin, passed away Friday, February 4, 2011.
Born in Lowndes Co., GA, she was the daughter of the late Wilmot Lamar Maxwell and Vertna Parker Maxwell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Margaret Ann Hodnett who passed away December 14, 2010. Yvonne studied two years at Florida State University and two years at Duke University where she attained an associate's degree in Medical Technology. She was formerly active with the Alter Guild at St. Agnes Episcopal Church and member of the Friendship Club in Franklin.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. James Driver Hodnett; daughter, Emily Claire Hodnett and Lawrence Barsalou of Atlanta, GA; two sons, James Maxwell Hodnett and wife, Jan Justice Hodnett of Norcoss, GA and John Wilmot Hodnett of Stone Mtn., GA; son-in-law, Mark Hansen of Panama City Beach, FL; granddaughter, Elizabeth Hodnett Barsalou of Atlanta, GA; niece, Diana Hodnett and nephew, Richard Hodnett.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 12 at St. Agnes Episcopal Church. The Reverend Dorothy Pratt will officiate.
