Wilson Meyer, Major, USAF, Retired, 86, of Franklin, NC and Riviera Beach, FL, entered into rest on Friday, November 4, 2005.
A native of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, he was the son of the Charles L. Meyer, Sr. and Marie Seurot Meyer. He was married to the late Grace Hammett Meyer who died in 1999. In addition he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Sansbury and a brother, Jean Seurot. Wilson was a retired school teacher for Palm Beach County, FL. He flew 31 missions over Germany as a bombadier during WWII and was with the 92nd bomb group.
He is survived by three daughters, Karen Zann and Susan Meyer both of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Marilyn McCullen of Riviera Beach, FL; one brother, Charles L. Meyer of Winter Haven, FL; one sister, Jeanne Griffin of Riviera Beach, FL; three grandchildren; one great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Quattlebaum Funeral Home in West Palm Beach, FL. Burial will be in the Arlington National Cemetery.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the local arrangements.
