Willie Cleveland Wishon, 69, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2009.
Born in Johnson City, TN, he was the son of the late Hunter Wishon and Bertha Mae Miller Wishon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters. Willie was a tractor trailer mechanic and worked the Rabun Flea Market. He attended Holly Springs Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Patricia Greene Wishon; two daughters, Robin Kane and husband Rusty of Green Cove Springs, FL and Tracey Daynes and husband Mark of Orlando, FL; two sisters, Lena Davis of Orlando, FL and Amanda McQueen of Mims, FL; granddaughter, Courtney Smith and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, July 24, in the Chapel Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Bud Haire and Rev. Davis Hooper will officiate.
A gathering of friends will follow the service.
Memorial donations may be made to the family.
