William "Bill" Stephen LaDue, 80, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015.
Born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Allen LaDue and Frances Ruth Lawson LaDue. Bill was a graduate of Marshall University, Huntington, WVA; a U.S. Marine Corp veteran; retired from Pan Am Airlines and enjoyed golfing.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Charlene Simon LaDue; son, Stephen LaDue of Franklin; sister, Diane Graeber of Kings Mountain, NC and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 3, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Gene Price and Rev. Margaret Freeman will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 2, at Macon Funeral Home.
Memorial donations can be made to the P.E.O. Chapter CL Ewing/Huffman Foundation, C/O Janice Claud, Chapter CL, P.O. Box 272, Otto, NC 28763.
