William Howard "Doc" Plemens, 84, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013.

Born in Roane Co, TN, he was the son of the late James Edgar Plemens and Nora Wyrick Plemens. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Bronce, Archie and Otis Plemens. Doc was a charter member of East Franklin Baptist Church; where he was an active member, serving as Deacon, Sunday school teacher and Sunday school Superintendent.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Della Tilson Plemens; two sons, Steve Plemens and wife Faye of Cheyenne, WY and Roger Plemens and wife Daylon of Franklin; sister, Helen Poland of Grove, OK; brother, Clyde Plemens of Bartlesville, OK; three grandchildren, Michael, Brian and Nathan Plemens and a great-grandson, Micah Plemens.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 6th, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Scott Matthews will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 2 pm, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Brian Plemens, Nathan Plemens, Gilmer Breedlove, George Jenkins, Fred Campbell and Tommy Mason.
