Obituary
William L. Parrish, 86, of Otto, NC, entered into rest on Tuesday, June 27, 2006.
A native of Macon County, he was the son of the late William Parrish and Blanche Higdon Parrish. He was married to the late Verna Hardee Parrish who died August 9, 2002. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and was retired civil service. William was a member of Asbury Methodist Church; and a member of the Junaluskee Masonic Lodge No. 145 for 50 years.
He is survived by two son, Bill Parrish of Otto and Les Parrish and his wife Cindy of Otto; one brother, Max Parrish of Otto; and four grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 30, at Asbury Methodist Church. Rev. Jerome Hamm and Rev. Michael A. Binger will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lewis Rathbun Wellness Center, 121 Sherwood Road, Asheville, NC 28803.
