William "Bill" Neal Norris, 41, of Winder, GA, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 17, 2008.

He was born in Michigan and the son of William "Bill" Norris and Frances Norris of Franklin. He was a fork lift driver for Wal-Mart Distribution Center; a US Air Force Desert Storm veteran; and was an avid sports fan.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of eleven years, Sharon Estes Norris, a sister, Sheila Bennett, and husband, Bill of Mt. Juliet, TN; their children, Matt and Sara; four stepchildren, Pandi Austin of Rockmart, GA, Renee Metcalf and husband, Lee of Sylva, NC, Stephanie Teem and husband, Jeremy, Derick Pendergrass and wife, Krystal, all of Franklin, NC; several aunts, uncles, cousins and six step grandchildren, Spencer, Jacob, Kylee, Wyatt, Savannah, and Makayla.

Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 20, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Aaron Phillips will officiate. Burial will be in the Sanders Cemetery with graveside rites conducted by VFW Post 7339 and American Legion Post 108.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 19, at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Lee Metcalf, Jeremy Teem, Derick Pendergrass, Matt Bennett, Lester Norris, and Kenneth Norris. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gary McCall and Bill Bennett.

Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
