Obituary
William Hicks McNary, 81, of Franklin, NC, formerly of Lake Wales FL, died Wednesday, December 19, 2007.
A native of Volusia County, Florida; he was the son of the late Archibald Hicks McNary and Anna Sterthaus McNary. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Burton R. McNary. Mr. McNary was a WWII Navy Veteran and was employed as a Supervisor at Florida Power and Light. He was also a member of Franklin Seventh Day Adventist Church, Past Master of the Seminole Masonic Lodge # 304 in Florida, and served in the York Rite.
Mr. McNary is survived by his wife, Margaret, to whom he was married for 58 years.
There will be a Memorial Service Thursday, December 27, 2007 at 6 p.m. at Macon Funeral Home in the Chapel. Pastor Duane Maracle will officiate and Masonic Rites will be conducted by Junaluska Lodge #145.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the Memorial Service.
