William "Ray" McMahan, 63, of Franklin passed away Saturday, August 17, 2013.
Born in Macon County, he was the son of the late Tim McMahan and Pauline Waldroop McMahan. Ray was the owner of M&M Siding and was a member, deacon and former youth leader at Cartoogechaye Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Baye Hopkins McMahan; three sons, Michael McMahan and wife Beckie, Kevin McMahan and wife Jennifer and Brandon McMahan and wife Kate all of Franklin; two brothers, Henry McMahan and wife Linda and Bob McMahan and wife Joyce both of Franklin; eight grandchildren, Alisha Randall, Marc McMahan, Noah McMahan, Elijah McMahan, Chloe McMahan, Kyndle McMahan, Kaci McMahan and Karli McMahan and one great grandchild, Nathan McMahan.
Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, August 19, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Carson Gibson, Rev. Josh Brooks and Rev. David Hastings will officiate. Burial will be in the Ridgecrest Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Marc McMahan, Noah McMahan, Elijah McMahan, Gary McMahan, Tim McMahan and Jason Hopkins. Honorary Pallbearers will be Deacons of Cartoogechaye Baptist Church.
Memorial donations can be made to the Cartoogechaye Baptist Church Youth.
