William A. Conner, 72, of Franklin, NC, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017.
He was born in Wheeling, WV, son of Chester and Mary Conner. Bill served in the Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Marlynn; two sons, Michael Conner (wife Karen) of Robbinsdale, MN, and Mark Conner (wife Heather) of Franklin, NC; thirteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brother, Thomas Conner of Labelle, FL and many other dear family members.
Bill will always be missed by family, friends, and all who knew him.
A military graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 17th, at Shepherd Memorial Cemetery. Rev. Robert Dryman will officiate with VFW Post 7339 and American Legion Post 108 performing military honors.
The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Sunday, July 16th at Macon Funeral Home.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
