William J. Clancy, Jr., 73, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2014.
Born in Albany, NY, he was the son of the late William James Clancy Sr. and Bernadette Ann Powers Clancy. William was a US Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, RoseMary Clancy; two daughters, Cindy Carol Clancy Attanasio and husband Leonard of Balston Lake, NY and Robin Jean Clancy Powers of Mechanicville, NY; son, Sgt. Major William James Clancy, IV, Army Special Forces, of Stuttgart, Germany; two grandchildren, Michael Scott Folmsbee of Balston Lake, NY and Jessica Rose Folmsbee of Malta, NY.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, December 9, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
