William "Bill" M. Brandon, 88, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2014.

Born in Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late William M. Brandon and Mildred Nerhood Brandon. Bill was a US Navy veteran and served during WWII. He loved the mountains and enjoyed camping and hiking and was an avid golfer.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Nancy Brandon; two daughters, Linda Dingee of Arlington, TX and Karen Brown of Pensacola, FL; brother, Robert Brandon of California; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 8th in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
