Obituary
Willard Norris Berdit, 90, of Franklin, passed away Friday, December 25, 2015.
Born in Wilmington, DE, he was the son of the late Charles Berdit and Fay Hindin Berdit. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin Berdit. Will was member of the U.S. Army 517th Parachute Regimental Combat Team (PRCT) during WWII. He worked as a real estate developer and businessman and enjoyed playing poker with his friends. He moved to Franklin in 1978 from South Florida.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Jacqueline Clayton; four children, Fay Gregory, Ruth Jones, Phil Berdit and Charles Berdet; two step children, Wendy L. Hildebran and Jason S. Mann; five grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
No Services are planned.
