Willard M. Ashe, 76, of Franklin, entered into rest on Sunday, August 14, 2005.

A native of Murphy, NC, he was the son of the late Wade Ashe and Abbey Dockery Ashe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ellis. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church.

He is survived by two daughters, Nancy Younghans of Jacksonville, NC and Debbie Reed of Sevierville, TN; one brother, Bill Ashe of Virginia; four sisters, Mary Lou Dillard , Ellen Gates and Nettie Ashe all of Jackson County, NC and Rosie May Hayes of Murphy; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 17, at Woodlawn Cemetery. Rev. Vic Greene will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 16, at Macon Funeral Home.
