Willa "June" Fowler Johnson James, 83, of Franklin, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2014.
Born in Cleveland, OH, she was the daughter of the late Carroll Frederick Snodgrass and Helen Marie Stahley Snodgrass. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jeff Fowler; second husband, Pearlman Johnson and daughter, Jill Lorraine Fowler. June was a member of First Baptist Church. She was Speaker for the Christian Women's Club and member of the Presidential Prayer Team.
She is survived by her husband, Albert James; daughter, Laurie Sue Friedman and husband Steve of Powder Springs, GA; step-son, Kenneth James of Franklin, NC; six brothers and sisters, Doris Roberts of Florida, Cora Lloyd of North Carolina, Linda Wilson of Colorado, Bruce Snodgrass of Florida, Chris Nelson of Florida and Karen Ross of Franklin and one grandson, Stephan Freidman of Powder Springs, GA.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 16th at First Baptist Church. Dr. Robert Brown and Rev. Harold Ball will officiate. Burial will follow the service at 3:30 p.m. in the Mount Harmony Memorial Gardens in Mableton, GA.
The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Sunday, June 15th at Macon Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to First Baptist Church, or the Billy Graham Association.
