Wayne Klimas, 76, of Franklin, passed away Monday, March 18, 2019.

Born in Tonawanda, NY, he was the son of the late Benedict Klimas and Kathryn C. Roth Klimas. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Skip Klimas of New York and Greg Klimas of Florida. Wayne was a master craftsman in woodworking and a handyman. He would give you the shirt off his back.

He is survived by his sister, Karen Scinta of Florida; step-daughter, Becky Sakowski of Franklin; two step-sons, Brian Lutes-Wilson of Tennessee, and David Lutes of Florida; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4 pm, Thursday, April 4, at Macon Funeral Home. Father Tien Doung will officiate.
