Warren Robert Potter, 80, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2015.
Born in New York City, NY, he was the son of the late Churchill Potter and Emma Spies DeWaard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Craig V. Potter; daughter, Marilyn Frances Potter and a brother, Charles W. Potter. He was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran and retired from General Electric. He was a member of the Junaluskee Masonic Lodge No.145, Shriners, Marine Corp League; Amateur Radio Club, Civil Air Patrol and Elks Lodge BPOE 2040, Cobleskill, NY.
He is survived by his wife, Carron D. Potter; son, Kurt B. Potter of Middleburg, NY; daughter, Dawn Potter Hastie of Burke, VA; three grandchildren, Andrew Hastie and wife Shakira; Faith Hastie and Paige Hastie; two great grandchildren, Makenzie Reign and Brandon Henry.
A Memorial Service will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, December 10, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate.
Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Junaluskee Masonic Lodge No. 145 and Smoky Mountain Marine Corp League.
