Walter John Dziurgot, 95, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2012.

Born in Detroit, MI he was the son of the late Peter Dziurgot and Mary Anna Dziedsic. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Theresa Ann Dziurgot who died on March 12, 2009. Walter was an avid golfer, fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed playing cards and beating everyone at Cribbage. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church

He is survived by a son, Patrick Dziurgot and wife Mary Lou of Franklin; two brothers, Joseph Dziurgot of Rochester, MI and Leonard Dziurgot of Lincoln Park, MI; sister, Cecilia Sarna of Novi, MI; two grandchildren, John Robert Dziurgot and Roxanne Zemmin and husband Mark; six great grandchildren, Ryan, Kale and Brandon Dziurgot and Chelsea, Jordan and Cassidy Zemmin and a number of nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 27th at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Father Tien Duong will officiate.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 6th at St. Joseph Church, Wyandotte, Michigan.
