Obituary
Walter Lloyd Barber, 73, of Franklin, NC, entered into rest on Wednesday, May 24, 2006.
A native of Kissimmee, FL, he was the son of the late Walter T. Barber and Veaurnal Smith Barber. In addition he was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry "Pozy" Barber and Edward Barber. He graduated in 1951 from Osceola High School, Kissimmee, FL. Mr. Barber attended Jones Business School from 1956-1959 and attended Bible College in St. Paul, Minnesota. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was self employed.
He is survived by his wife, Minnie Cowart Barber; two nephews, Frank Barber and wife Lori and Andy Barber and one niece, Beth Ann Baxter and husband Vince.
Funeral Service will be held at 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. R.E. Stephenson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m., prior to the service.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 30, at Grissom Funeral Home, Kissimmee, FL. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Kissimmee, FL.
Memorial donations may be made to the Cullasaja Assembly of God, PO Box 712, Franklin, NC 28744.
