Obituary
Virginia Hayes Norris, 82, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2011.
Born in Shelby, NC, she was daughter of the late Charles O. Hayes and Della Peak Hayes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Raliegh Norris Jr and two brothers.
She is survived by three children, Gladys Lakey of Mt. Airy, GA, Timothy Ray Norris and wife Pat of Winder, GA and James Siler Norris of Baldwin, GA; five grandchildren, Wesley Neal Lakey, Katelyn Nicole Norris, Dawn Mooney, Stephanie Lafavor and Michael Patton and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate. Burial will be in Newman Chapel Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2011.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorial donations can be made to Newman Chapel Cemetery Fund.
