Virgie Lee Solesbee, 92, of Franklin, entered into rest Thursday, December 15, 2005.
A native of Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Frank Roane and Mamie Carpenter Roane. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her step-mother, Carrie Kimsey Roane; her husband, Hillard Solesbee; one son, Steve Solesbee; one daughter, Sue Solesbee Kusterer; two brothers, Quince and Larry Roane; one sister, Lura Roane Hastings; half brother, Gene Roane; and half sister, Mary Kate Roane. Virgie was a member of Cartoogechaye Baptist Church.
Surviving are Son-in-law, Jack Kusterer, and Daugther-in-law, Martha Angel Solesbee, both of Franklin; half brothers, Halen Roane of Franklin, Clyde, Harvey and Earl Roane of Oregon, and Donald Roane of Blairsville, GA; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 18, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
