Violet Mary Tucek, 86, of Franklin, passed away May 4, 2012.
Born in Harrisburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late James Charlton and Olive Urwin Charlton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Frank Tucek and brother, James Charlton. Violet loved to work jigsaw puzzles and word searches, bird watching and yarn crafting. She was of the Catholic faith.
She is survived by two children, Leslee Tucek and George Tucek and wife Jeannie of Franklin; two grandchildren, Kevin Tucek and Kimberly Shuler and four great grandchildren, Madison Shuler, Maverick Shuler, Bailey Tucek and Bradley Woods.
No Services have been planned at this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Macon County Humane Society, PO Box 81, Franklin, NC 28744 or Noah's Ark Rescue Program.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
