Villie Caroline Johnson, 92, of Sylva, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2015.

Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Frank Hyatt and Laura Wilson Hyatt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny "Odell" Johnson; four brothers; four sisters; granddaughter, Rhonda Norton and great grandson, Charles Norton. Villie was a Sunday school teacher and very dedicated member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.

She is survived by five children, Edward Odell Johnson (Judy) of Sylva; R.V. Johnson (Diane) of Sylva; Alvin Johnson (Sue) of Franklin; Cytrinia Norton (Ron) of Franklin and Joyce Pannell (Kenneth) of Franklin; two sisters, Maxine Sanders and Evelyn Brendle both of Franklin; brother, Eddie Hyatt of Marysville, Washington; thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, November 1, at Zion Hill Baptist Church. Rev. Eddie Stillwell and Rev. Mark Bishop will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, October 31, at Macon Funeral Home.

Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers.
