Una Margaret Crawford Setser, 81, of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2013.
Born in Macon Co, she was the daughter of the late Eugene Emerson Crawford and Mary Estella Snyder Crawford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Edwin Ray Setser who died in 2011. Una graduated from Franklin High School and Western Carolina University. She retired as a school teacher; was a member of The Macon County Unit of NCRSP; member of Memorial United Methodist Church where she served as treasurer, former Sunday school teacher and member of the Friendship Sunday School Class.
She is survived by four daughters, Margaret Simpson and husband Bob of Franklin, Mary Miesiaszek and husband Steve of Norcross, GA, Myra Loewenstein and husband David of Rye Brook, NY and Lisa Setser of Franklin; three sisters, Myra Patton of Franklin, Mysa Mathews and husband A.L. of Worthington, OH and Jean Swainey and husband Walt of Hillsboro, NC; ten grandchildren, Caroline, Stephanie, Morgan, Rachael, Taylor, Jeffrey, Sissy, Olivia, Zachary and Sophie and three great-grandchildren, Miciah, Maleek and Eric.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 7th at Memorial United Methodist Church. Rev. Sam Crawford and Rev. David Duncan will officiate. Burial will be in the Mount Zion Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
