Obituary
Tony Douglas Posey, 46, of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2011.
Born in Swain Co. he was the son of Barbara McGaha Posey and the late Douglas MacArthur Posey. Tony loved working on cars especially Mustangs and enjoyed riding Harleys. He was a member of Tellico Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons, Douglas Posey and Austin Posey both of Franklin; a sister, Sheila Ann Posey of Franklin; grandson, Logan Posey of the home and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 10, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Morris Tippett and Rev. Gary McCoy will officiate.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorial donations can be made at Tellico Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
