Obituary
Tony Wilburn Gibson, 50, of Franklin, NC, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2016.
Born in Macon Co, he was the son of Mertis Cagle Gibson of Brevard, NC and the late Jesse Eugene Gibson. Tony loved being outdoors; playing horseshoes, camping and digging ginseng were a few of his favorite past-times. He was a member of Cowee Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by one son, Eric Gibson; five brothers and sisters, Judy Beechley and husband Charles of Franklin, Wanda Todd and husband Mike of Franklin, Pam Mason and husband Joe of Charlotte, NC, David Gibson of Seabrook, TX and Alfred Paul Gibson on Cummins, GA and many nieces and nephews.
No Services are planned.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to one's favorite charity.
