Obituary
Tommie D. Thomas, 98, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2012.
Born in Rabun Co, GA, she was the daughter of the late Lex Darnell and Eula Burrell Darnell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Harry Thomas and eight brothers and sisters. Tommie was a savy business woman and of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Fagg and husband Tommy of Franklin; two grandchildren, Ashley Palmer and Courtney Fagg both of Charlotte; two great grandchildren, Peyton and Hayden Palmer and several nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 25 at Betty's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Dillard, GA. Rev. Jason Smith will officiate.
Memorial donations can be made to Angel Hospice General Fund, 170 Church St. Franklin, NC 28734.
