Timothy Scot Thompson, 49, of Franklin, NC, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2010.
Born in Hialeah, FL, he was the son of Madge Sontag Sala and John Sala. Timothy was an avid sportsman; he enjoyed hunting and fishing and love riding his Harley. What he loved most in life was his family, especially his children.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancé, Lyndie Holland; his former wife, Debra Thompson of Franklin; three children, Jana Thompson of Franklin, April Lamb of Rosman, NC and Coben Thompson of the home; two brothers, Ray Thompson and wife Kelly and Michael Thompson and Chico both of Franklin; a sister, Kelly Elliott of Franklin; a grandson, Ryan Lamb and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 11: 00 a.m. Friday, October 8, 2010 in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Davis Hooper will officiate.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
