Timothy Lane Blackburn, 80, of Franklin passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2019.

Born in Charlotte, NC, he was the son of the late Timothy Blackburn and Annie Merritt Blackburn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter, Christine Anne Blackburn; and two half brothers, John Silva and Sheldon Silva. Timothy attended St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed golfing, playing ping-pong and pool.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Connie Blackburn; children, William Blackburn (Cathy) of Tullahoma, TN, Leah Blackburn (Keith) of Franklin, and John Nicholas Coser of Azle, TX; brother, Perry Wayne Blackburn of Homestead, FL; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and his loyal canine companion, Chewy.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 am, Monday, April 15 at St. Francis Assisi Catholic Church. Father Tien Duong will officiate. Military Honors will be conducted by VFW Post 7339 and American Legion Post 108.
