Obituary
Thomas Lenihan Jr, 80, of Franklin passed away Thursday, April 4, 2019.
Born in Morristown, NJ, he was the son of the late Thomas Paul Lenihan Sr. and Rae Mazzocchi Lenihan. In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his sisters, Patricia Lenihan and Paula Miller; and brother, Frank Lenihan. He was a US Navy veteran. Thomas was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed gardening, hunting, and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years, Sharon Yager Lenihan; two daughters, Veronica Kise of New Jersey and Sharon Tippett (Charles) of Franklin; son, John T. Lenihan Sr. (Stephanie) of Otto; brother, Joseph Lenihan of California; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 pm Sunday, April 7 at Macon Funeral Home. Military Honors will be conducted by VFW Post 7339 and American Legion Post 108.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.
