Thomas Spencer Barger, 93 of Franklin, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018.

Born in Toledo, Ohio, he was the son of the late Aaron Barger and Alice Barger. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Freda Brown Barger. Tom was an educator for forty-four years where he also coached football and basketball. He loved sports and was an avid Florida Gators fan. He was kind and compassionate to everyone who knew him.

He is survived by the light of his life, his daughter, Constance Alice Barger of Franklin and a brother, Robert Barger of Toledo, Ohio.

A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
