Obituary
Theodore W. Waneski, 87, of Franklin, passed away, Friday, January 4, 2013.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Steve Waneske and Natalia (Madzelewska) Waneske. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Charles, Eddie, Felicia and Helen Waneske. Teddy was a US Air Force veteran. He enjoyed playing golf, watching football, golf and tennis matches, and was a longtime member and resident of Mill Creek Country Club. Teddy was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church.
Teddy is survived by his wife of 44 years, Helen (Kozakewich) Keswick.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 8th, at St. Francis Catholic Church. Father Tien Duong will officiate. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery in Queens, NY.
Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Monday, January 7th at Macon Funeral Home, with Rosary said at 4:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Francis Catholic Church Food Pantry, 299 Maple Street, Franklin, NC 28734.
