Terry Reed Newby, 62, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2009. Born in Gilmer County, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Gaylord Reed and Bettie Moss Reed. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Diana Reed. She formerly worked for CR Industries and was an Avon representative. Terry was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She is survived by a son, Paul Newby and his wife Jody of Franklin and a grandson, Gregg Newby of Tiger, GA. A Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, October 12, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Steve Ockey will officiate. Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
