Terry Holland, 60, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2016.
Raised in Macon County, he was the son of John and Ruth Holland. He was preceded in death by a sister, Gail Holland. He was a member of Riverside Fellowship Church. Terry was an avid sportsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, hiking and ginseng hunting but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was also a skilled wood worker and knife maker.
In addition to his parents, John and Ruth Holland; he is survived by his wife of 40 years, Betty Pendergrass Holland; son, Jeremy (Tracye) Holland; daughter, Lyndie Holland; grandchildren, Coben Thompson, Alyviah, Gracin and Alycin Holland; sisters, Kathy (Bob) Ray, Rhonda (Ron) Holland, Danita (Rick) Stoudemire; sister-in-law's, Shelia (Tony) Lewis, Teresa (Chuckie) Stanley; brother-in-law's, David (Marty) Pendergrass, Johnny (Debbie) Pendergrass; loving family friend, Darrin "Dugan" (Diamond) Burch and many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, March 4 in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Cloer, Rev. Darian Cochran and Rev. Tim Hayes will officiate. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 3, at Macon Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Chad Ray, Mike Waldroop, Chase Holland, Travis Crisp, Josh Crisp, Trance Stoudemire, Jamey Pendergrass, Austin Lewis, Billy Lewis and Chet Stanley.
