Obituary
Teressa Lynn Curtis, 52, of Franklin, passed away Friday, March 9, 2018.
Born in Kittery, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Charles Curtis, Jr. and Georgia Ann Moffitt Curtis. Teressa previously worked for Macon County Senior Services as coordinator for Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed playing softball and volleyball and loved animals.
She is survived by three brothers, Johnny Curtis (Kelly) of Minot, North Dakota, Floyd Curtis (Renee) of Poolville, Texas and Tommy Curtis (Jan) of Franklin; sister, Sandy Smith (Eddie) of Franklin; step mother, Edna Curtis of Sylva; step sister, Barbara Sitton of Sylva; numerous nieces, nephews, and their children, all of whom she loved dearly, including a special nephew, James Smith (Brooke) and their children of Franklin. She had many friends who she loved dearly, who also survive.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 21st at Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Jason Smith will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Appalachian Animal Rescue, 851 Lake Emory Road, Franklin, NC 28734.
