Obituary

T.L. Jamison, 90, of Franklin, passed away Monday, June 16, 2014.

Born in Macon County, he was the son of the late Grover Jamison, Sr. and Mary Brown Jamison. T.L. was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, receiving the Purple Heart; retired from the U.S. Postal Service and worked many years at Jamison Jewelers. He was member of Cowee Baptist Church and a member of VFW Post 7339.

He is survived by his wife Judy Norton Jamison; three children, Eva Emmrich of Fort Myers, FL, Thomas Loring Jamison of Hayesville, NC and Millie Collins of Greenville, SC; three grandchildren, Tamara, Lyndsay and Callie; nephew, Bobby Hunt and many other nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 19, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Lloyd Fish and Rev. David Powell will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:00 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Bill Jamison, Farrell Jamison, Charles Jamison, David Jamison, Phil Jamison, Clark Shope and Hugh Constance.

Memorial donations can be made to the Cowee Baptist Church, 6301 Bryson City Road, Franklin, NC 28734.
