Sylvia E. Freeman, 88, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, May 05, 2018.
Born in Taplin, West VA, she was the daughter of the late Robert Crank and Margaret Crittendon Crank. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dorman Freeman and five sisters and six brothers. Sylvia retired from Martin Marietta. She was a member of Campers on Mission and was a mission worker in Blount Island and Jacksonville, FL.
She is survived by her son, Daniel Mark Freeman (Bonnie) of Franklin; four grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jennifer, Jeremey and Jamie; six great grandchildren, Katie, Michael, Robert, Taylor, Sara and Tara; four great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 15, at South Macon Baptist Church. Rev. Albert Grey will officiate. Burial will be in the Asbury Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 14, at Macon Funeral Home.
