Sylvia Alice "Took" Shaffer Bolick, 70, of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2012.
Born in Wooster, OH, she was the daughter of the late Albert Harry Shaffer and Jennie Frieda Freed Owenby. Sylvia was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ellard Bolick; three children, Carla Reilly of Weaverville, NC, Kathy Mewborn and husband William Carl Mewborn, III of Monroe, GA and Marty Bolick and wife Annette of Toccoa, GA; six grandchildren, Tosha and Nick Austin, Mandy and Ryan Tobin, Will and Erica Mewborn, Morgan Bolick, Madison Bolick and Johnathan Reilly and four great-grandchildren, Autumn Austin, Alec Austin, Samuel O'Rear and Brayden Tobin.
Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 5th, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Gregg Bolick and Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren and their spouses.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
