Stuart Randall McLennan, 47, of Franklin, formerly of Cuba, New York, and Port Charlotte, Florida, died Tuesday, March 6, 2007 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born in Valdosta, GA, he was the son of Louise Madeline Williams von Kliest of Franklin and the late Donald F. and Helen Whitaker McLennan. He was a journeyman electrician; a NASCAR enthusiast; a member of Duck's Unlimited; and a loving son, brother, and uncle.

In addition to his mother; he is survived by two brothers, Carter McLennan and wife Kelly and Douglas McLennan and wife Sheri all of Franklin; three sisters, Carol Merkle and husband Scott of Cuba, NY, Judy Cole and husband Greg of Silver Creek, NY; Wendy von Kleist and husband Kevin of Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
