Stephen Paul Johnson, 34, of Franklin, passed away May 3, 2014, after suffering several years of medical problems and illness.

He was an auto mechanic, and loved working on and customizing cars and trucks. He was also an excellent artist and composer of spoken word poetry.

Those of us who were blessed to know him and love him were touched by his generosity, unselfishness and compassionate spirit.

We will all miss him terribly, but take comfort in the assurance that he is in the presence of the Lord God, and has perfect peace.

The family is planning a private Memorial Service.
