Obituary
Stanley C. Blind, 81, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2012.
Born in Stockport, Ohio, he was the son of the late Clifton Blind and Thrya Jones Blind. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Lelia Mae Wise Blind; second wife, Lavonia Slagle Blind; son, Stanley James Blind; two brothers, Alva and Terry and great granddaughter, Katie. Stanley was a member of Tellico Baptist Church. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and ginseng hunting.
He is survived by four children, Stormie Thayer and Windy Veneziale both of Tampa, FL, Tonya McCoy of Tiger, GA and Christian Blind of Franklin; two sisters, Gloria Halter and Sandra Niece both of Ohio; brother, Alan Blind of Colorado; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
