Sibyl Harper Harouff, 83, of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2016.

Born in Ryan, WV, she was the daughter of the late Harry Wilbur Harper and Nannie Smith Harper. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Zane Harouff and one sister, Charlotte Walters. Sibyl was a member of Iotla United Methodist Church and an adult Sunday School teacher. She enjoyed crafting, making angels, cooking and reading.

She is survived by one daughter, Suzanne Lynn Harouff of Franklin; three sisters, Mary Hoda and husband Nathan of Diamond Head, MS, Joyce Collett and husband Berlin of Short Gap, WV and Suzy Allen and husband Tom of Bristol, TN; one brother, Sonny Harper and wife Karen of Ripley, WV; one grandson, Staff Sgt. Christopher Holland and wife Brittany of Honolulu, HI; one great grandson, Benjamin Zane Holland and special friend, Sergei "Pete" Gubarev of Franklin.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to one's favorite charity
