Shirley Ann Clouse, 56, of Franklin, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 22, 2006.

A native of Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late James Carlos Lucas and Dorothy Irene Brader Lucas. She was a member of Watauga Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Donnie Clouse; daughter, Evelyn Clouse Mashburn of Franklin; son, Guy Clouse of Utah; sister, Paula Alice Lucas of Waterford, Michigan; brother, Clyde Allen Lucas of Williamston, Michigan; three grandchildren, Amber Lynn, Tayler Ann and James Donnie; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, September 24, at Watauga Baptist Church. Rev. Wesley Price, Rev. Roy Lowe and Rev. Rick Potts will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Sunday, at the church.

Pallbearers will be Ray Sanders, Norris Clouse, Brandon Clouse, Dale Clouse, Brian Carnes and Barry Carnes.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Cecil Elders, Houston Elders, Sylvester Elders, Bill Fox, Rick Cassada, Daniel Jenkins and Alvin Johnson.
