Sharon Dills Clark Hightower, 69, of Franklin, passed away Monday, May 21, 2012.
Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Dills and Clyde Virginia Henry Dills. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Preston Clark; second husband, Tommy Hightower and a brother Ernest Regal Dills. Sharon worked in the Pharmacy at Walmart; was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed knitting, crocheting and was an avid reader.
She is survived by three children, Tony Clark and wife Laura Rosenberger of Waynesville; Tim Clark and wife Kimberly Presnell of Franklin and Barry Clark and wife Dawn Ewart of Waynesville; brother, Johnny Dills of Pueblo Springs, CO; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 23 in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Greg Rogers will officiate. Burial will be in the Sugarfork Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Chris O'Kelley, Nano Mascarenas, Scotty Thomas, Bill Deal, Landy Holland and Glenn Holland.
