Sharon Duvall Burrell, 74, of Franklin, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2019.

Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of Mary Lee Buchanan Duvall and the late Cecil Kenneth Duvall. Sharon was selflessly devoted to her family and cherished being involved in all aspects of her granddaughters' lives. She had a great appreciation of art in many forms and enjoyed spending her time tatting. She also loved traveling with Sonny's softball teams.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 52 years, Walter "Sonny" Burrell; two children, Adam Burrell and wife Angela of Franklin and Eric Burrell and wife Kristin of Greenville, SC; sister, Shelia Young and husband Gene of Franklin; five grandchildren, Jordan, Payton, Corey, Kayla and Eden Burrell, and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 2nd at First Baptist Church, in Franklin, NC, where she was a member. Rev. Robert Brown and Rev. Guy Duvall will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 p.m., prior to the service at the church.
