Scott Lobeck, 53, of Chapel Hill, NC, passed away suddenly at his residence on May 31, 2009.

Born in Lancaster, PA he was the son of Bill and Doris Lobeck of Franklin. Scott grew up in Fort Lauderdale, FL and moved to Franklin with his parents in 1978. He attended South Western Community College and was a carpenter by trade. Scott was preceded in death by a son, Justin.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Stacy Schick and her children Madison of Franklin and son, Brian and wife of Raleigh, NC and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 15, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 299 Maple St. Franklin, NC 28734. The Mass will be offered by Father Tien H. Duong. Courtesy of Macon Funeral Home.
