Scott Arnott, 56, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016.

Born in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, he was the son of the late Harold Arnott and Mary Alice Davis Wood. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Arnott. Scott was a U.S. Air Force veteran and retired from the Volusia County Sheriff's Office. He enjoyed golfing and fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Sara Wall Arnott; daughter, Victoria Arnott of Destin, FL; step children, Shannon Rivera of Franklin, Michael Higbee of Daytona Beach, FL, Jessica Higbee of Winter Springs, FL and Stephen Higbee of Oviedo, FL; sister, Shelly Ann Anderson of South Dakota; five grandchildren and step father, David Wood of Daytona Beach, FL.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Florida.

Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
