Sandra Elaine Allen Zimmerman, 53, of Franklin, passed away Monday, January 9, 2017.

Born in Macon Co, she was the daughter of John and Betty Hopper Allen. Sandra enjoyed crocheting, reading and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was a member of Oak Dale Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by two sons, Mark Zimmerman and his wife Alichia and Ryan Zimmerman and his companion Natasha Thomas both of Franklin; one sister, Teresa Ann Allen of Franklin; three grandchildren, Cheyeanne, Gwenn and Jase Zimmerman; special family members, Donna Seibert, Mary Gregory, Randy Gregory and Wanda Pritchett and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 13th in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Jeremy Gibbs and Rev. Guy Duvall will officiate. Burial will be in Snow Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 12th at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Mark Zimmerman, Ryan Zimmerman, Mike Shuler, Stacy Dills, Joe Allen Jr., David Hopper, Keith Henry and David Norton.
