Obituary
Sandra Lea Oxley, 69, of Franklin, NC, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2013.
Born in Miami, FL, she was the daughter of the late David Phillips and Myrtle Manoma Penland Phillips. Sandra worked as a bookkeeper for Publix for several years. Sandra loved her family and will be remembered for her infectious laugh. Her family lovingly joked that her favorite hobby was stealing photographs from different family members each time she visited.
She is survived by her husband, Phillip Oxley of Franklin; three children, Robin Lynn McGee and husband Mike of Pembroke Pines, FL, Troy Douglas McCutcheon and wife Karla of Loxahatchee, FL and Shawn Allan McCutcheon and wife Tracy of Franklin; seven brothers and sisters, Joanne, Simone, Simon, David, Wanda, Linda and Colleen; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering of family and friends will take place at Phillip and Sandie's home on Friday, February 22nd at 3:30 p.m.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
